Rio Grande Water Conservation District – Alamosa, CO
The Rio Grande Water Conservation District is seeking a motivated and skilled Program Coordinator to assist the Program Manager with water resources administration, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination for our Subdistricts across the San Luis Valley. The position works closely with the Board of Managers, Program Manager, Deputy General Manager, General Manager, consultants, and state agencies to ensure effective water management, and adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements. The role requires strong leadership and analytical ability.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Hydrology, Environmental Science, Natural Resources, or related field (or equivalent experience), valid driver’s license, and ability to work in remote outdoor environments. Experience with water rights administration and water rights use is preferred.
Compensation: Starting at $32.50 per hour, with higher pay considered based on qualifications and experience.
